The Detroit News published this blog article yesterday in their “First Draft” blog about the upcoming Urbanrest Brewing Company opening in Ferndale, Michigan and used a couple of the photos that I shot at the past tasting events.
Helltown Brewing
I visited Helltown Brewing a couple weekends ago shortly after arriving in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania to visit family.
I had been waiting for this since earlier this year when my cousin sent my parents home with a growler of their Rapture IPA for me to try.
I ended up getting a growler of their Idle Hands Double IPA. Yes, it was AWESOME!
I snapped some photos of the facility while we were there sampling all of their beers.
Some sherry barrels imported from France were sitting on stands in the back of the facility. They weren’t sure what they were going to use them for though.
